The Buick Building

St. Louis Street in Mobile, Alabama was once known as “Automobile Alley” and the iconic Buick Building is one of its last remaining auto dealership buildings, earning it a spot on the National Historic Registry. The original 35,000 S.F. two-story masonry building was constructed in 1926. It served as a General Motors dealership prototype that was used in different cities across the United States adding to its historic significance. EquityPlus assisted the project in structuring and monetizing the historic tax credit subsidy to make the project a reality. Two new projects are in development within one block along St. Louis Street, a firm specializing in control systems and technology incubator.
